Nimonic 80A Sheets and Plates are made up of Nickel (at least 70%), Chromium (around 19–21%), along with Titanium (approximately 2.3%), Aluminum (about 1.4%), Carbon, and trace elements to boost strength. This alloy showcases a tensile strength ranging from 950 to 1050 MPa, a yield strength of 700 MPa, and impressive oxidation resistance up to 980°C. It also maintains high creep and fatigue strength, along with outstanding thermal stability and corrosion resistance. The material’s remarkable mechanical integrity under prolonged exposure to high temperatures makes it ideal for structural and mechanical components that face severe thermal and mechanical stress.
