The composition of Monel K500 Bars includes around 63% nickel and 27–33% copper, along with small amounts of aluminum (2.3–3.15%) and titanium (0.35–0.85%). The inclusion of aluminum and titanium boosts the alloy’s strength through age-hardening while preserving the excellent corrosion resistance characteristic of Monel 400. These bars boast a tensile strength of about 965 MPa and a yield strength of around 655 MPa, along with impressive toughness and ductility. They maintain their strength even in sub-zero temperatures, resist oxidation and pitting, and offer good thermal conductivity with a melting point close to 1350°C.
