Titanium Slitting Coils are typically made from commercially pure titanium grades (Grade 1–4) or Grade 5 titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V), depending on application requirements. The material primarily contains Titanium (90%), with small additions of Aluminum (6%) and Vanadium (4%) for enhanced strength. It features a density of 4.5 g/cm³, tensile strength of 350–1000 MPa, and a melting point of 1660°C. These coils offer excellent corrosion resistance, high fatigue strength, and a superior strength-to-weight ratio, maintaining stability and toughness even in chloride-rich or high-temperature environments.
